3 ways MAWBY Sparkling Wine makes a difference (and 4 ways you can too!)

Giving back has always been part of our business model, from supporting Fishtown in Leland and Munson Medical Center with private labels, to collecting canned goods for the local food pantry, to supporting voters rights and the environment. But how could we do more?

In 2019 we launched our “green given” program, where $1 from every bottle ofgreen sold went to local partners. We had fun paring foods with this bright bubbly and featuring it in promotions, flights and in our wine club.

The impact was immediate and powerful. In 2018 our $1400 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Michigan was enough to sponsor one "Little" for an entire year. That friends, is real change. The local teen and youth center, LIFT was able to purchase additional wifi hot spots for students virtual learning during the pandemic, and the TART trails was able to update signage along their many routes.

We were able to make an impact, right here in our our backyard, all with the help of sparkling wine lovers like you!

Starting in 2023, we are the expanding the program and christening it with a new name: MAWBY gives. The format is similar, proceeds from select bottles of wine will benefit local non profits. But with so many amazing bubblies, why limit it to just one? Each quarter we'll feature a new wine, giving you four chances to sip and support.

The 2023 MAWBY gives partners are:

PoWeR! Book Bags, who distribute books to children in need in Northern Michigan and promote literacy and learning.

Inland Seas, who use a hands on approach to  inspire a lifetime of Great Lakes curiosity, stewardship, and passion in people of all ages.

Dream Team Traverse City, an amateur baseball league for children and adults with disabilities.

Our current MAWBY Gives wine is the 50th Anniversary Cuvee.

MAWBY Gives: an easy, tasty, way to support causes that make our community a smarter, stronger, cleaner place to live, work and play.
