Our philanthropic efforts
At MAWBY Vineyards, giving back has always been a core value. We are dedicated to supporting Northern Michigan charities, environmental conservation efforts, and local nonprofit organizations that strengthen our community. From partnering with the League of Women Voters and contributing to cancer research at Munson Hospital, to working with the Leelanau Conservancy to protect our beautiful region, our commitment to making a difference runs deep.
Supporting Our Community Through "Green Giving"
In 2019, we launched "Green Giving", a sustainable initiative where one dollar from every bottle of Green sold is donated to local charities and environmental organizations. To date, we have raised nearly $30,000 to support causes that make Northern Michigan a cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant place to live.
Two Ways We Give Back
Raising funds through tasting room sales – A portion of proceeds from every "Build Your Own" wine flight directly supports our nonprofit partners. Choose any three wines from our extensive list and sip for a cause!
Hands-on volunteering – MAWBY staff actively volunteer to support the organizations that make our area smarter, stronger, healthier, cleaner, and a better place to live, play and work.
How can you help? Drink MAWBY wine! We donate a portion of proceeds from every “Build Your Own” flight sold in the tasting room toward our giving projects. Select any three wines for this custom flight from our extensive wine list. Every glass you enjoy helps fund vital community initiatives.

The Watershed Center is a passionate non-profit led by scientists and policy experts who are committed to the enduring health of Grand Traverse Bay and its surrounding waters. Guided by research and data, we are leading the discussion on water protection and restoration in our region.
Student Support Network - Traverse City Area Public Schools
The Student Support Network (SSN) is a program administered by Traverse City Area Public Schools that provides free supportive, educational-related services and non-academic support to help overcome obstacles that may create barriers to learning.
