Wine Down Wednesday on West Bay

For the third year, MAWBY and bigLITTLE are heading back aboard Discovery Cruises for a special Wine Down Wednesday tasting on West Grand Traverse Bay.

Our team will be on board pouring four featured wines and sharing more about what’s in your glass as you cruise along the Traverse City shoreline.

This year’s tasting lineup includes:

• MAWBY CCS Cuvée 2
• MAWBY Blanc
• bigLITTLE Dune Climb
• bigLITTLE Underdog

This will be one of the first opportunities to taste the newly released CCS Cuvée 2. This limited-edition sparkling wine is the second release from our collaboration with students at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies. This year brings an entirely new student-designed label and a new wine, finished with a lavender and honey dosage.

The rest of the lineup has had a strong awards season. Blanc was named Best Sparkling Wine in Michigan at the 2026 Governor’s Cup, while Dune Climb and Underdog each earned Silver. Underdog also received Double Gold and Best in Class at the Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits Competition.

The Wine Tasting Package includes four 2-ounce pours, a souvenir wine glass and small bites, with the MAWBY and bigLITTLE team there to guide you through the wines.

Cruise admission and the Wine Tasting Package are purchased through Discovery Cruises. Guests who would like to participate in the MAWBY + bigLITTLE tasting should select the Wine Tasting Package add-on when booking.

Wine tasting participants must be 21+ with valid ID.
